The Infamous Masterson’s , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my recent visit at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may look welcoming at first glance , what I encountered behind its walls was appalling and beyond comprehension .
Cleanliness Issues : Unhygienic and Neglected
From the moment I walked in , it was evident that sanitation was not a priority at this venue. The floors were sticky , and a foul smell of old alcohol and dirty bathrooms permeated the entire pub. Emitting a scent of a mixture of excrement , decay and sickness . The bar area , which should be the main attraction of any pub, was cluttered with dirty glasses and refuse that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks .
